We are a certified supplier of Valplast dentures.
Valplast is a brand of removable, flexible partial dentures. They are made from a nylon resin that is not only durable but also flexible enough to move and adapt to your patients mouth.
This makes them a lot more comfortable to wear than dentures that are made from hard, unmoving acrylic. However, it does mean that you cannot get Valplast full dentures, as full-mouth dentures require some rigidity to stay in place.
Unlike other types of partial dentures, they don’t have uncomfortable metal clasps to keep them in place that can be visible at times. Instead, they have little projections made from the same nylon resin material that fits over the teeth and gums to help the denture stay in place.
Overall, Valplast dentures could be a better choice for your patient if you are looking to replace one or more teeth. They are strong, lightweight, and blend in well with your remaining natural teeth, aesthetically speaking.
Duraflex dentures are made from a flexible and monomer-free thermoplastic dental resin and are an excellent alternative to acrylic dentures. The denture base is thinner, and the gum coloured clasps flex into place, increasing retention. They absorb virtually no water, making them more resistant to stains and odours. They are also very aesthetically pleasing, due to their thinness and translucency.
All flexible dentures made by us are returned fitted to the master model, which helps to reduce the appointment time to a minimum as minimal adjustments, if any, will be needed at the fit appointment.
DuraFlex and Valplast are both comfortable, flexible dentures that require little to no tooth preparation.
DuraFlex is made from an unbreakable thermoplastic material that is better for adjusting and easier to polish than Valplast.
DuraFlex partial dentures are also more resistant to water, so they won't discolour or absorb odours over the years.
The biocompatible nylon thermoplastic of Valplast is ideal for both hard and soft tissues and tends to be a bit more aesthetically pleasing than DuraFlex.
With Valplast dentures, teeth can be added at a later date, whereas with DuraFlex, this is not an option.
Valplast comes with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer against breakage, so you can get it replaced if it does break, whereas DuraFlex does not offer a guarantee on their material.
